A new luxury tile showroom is set to open in south Essex, bringing four new jobs to the high street.

Quorn Stone, a well-known British brand in the tile industry, will open their newest store at 30 Park View, Radford Way, in Billericay on Saturday, July 12.

The 2,500-square-foot showroom will be the company's first in Essex and the eighth across the UK.

The showroom is set to offer the "widest selection of high-end tiles in the county", with more than 185 floor and wall displays for customers to visualise their dream interiors.

This includes rustic kitchen flooring, ultra-modern bathroom tiles, and elegant outdoor paving.

A design team will be available for free consultations to help customers create the perfect look for their spaces.

The opening marks a positive development for Billericay’s retail scene, creating four new jobs for tile experts and design consultants in the area.

Isabel Fernández, co-director of the family-run business, said: "With eight inspirational showrooms already across the UK, a showroom in Essex was the next location for our customers to see our tiles in store.

"Situated in the historic town of Billericay, our Quorn Stone Essex tile store will showcase our extensive collection of natural stone and porcelain tiles.

"The showroom boasts floor to ceiling windows letting plenty of natural light, on-site parking and an extensive collection of large tile displays.

"We are working hard to get everything ready to launch on July 12 and can’t wait to open the doors."

The store will also offer free hot drinks, biscuits, and take-home samples for customers.

Quorn Stone, founded in 1995, began by importing artisan tiles from Spain and has grown into one of the UK's most respected tile specialists.

The store will be open from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday, 9.30am to 5pm on Saturday, and 10.30am to 4pm on Sunday.
